managing director
Roger is an award-winning editor. A former Insight investigations editor on The Sunday Times, he has also edited both the Scottish and Irish Sunday Express, been Time Out's news editor, and launched numerous customer magazines for clients as diverse as BMW, the Conservative Party, and London City Airport.
He has run his own businesses since 1996, and in 2005 launched Aspect Media to open up the benefits of contract publishing to a much wider audience than were previously taking advantage of the UK's most dynamic marketing medium.
It is one of Roger's central principles that although design attracts attention, it is words that generate response. This is why Aspect Media not only produces magazines that are fabulous to look at, it always employs the best editors and writers to work on all its projects.

new business and sales director
Lesley is one of the sharpest commercial minds working in contract publishing today. Classically trained at JWT as a media planner, Lesley has worked with some of today’s most innovative media-buying talent, and forged links with key media owners.
Lesley believes it’s an exciting time for contract publishing, with so much hard-fought campaigning and investment from the Association of Publishing Agencies and its members, the need for, and understanding of the value of contract publishing has come of age and is on the brink of truly allowing commercial free thinkers to drive business forward.
Before moving to Aspect Media Lesley ran her own sales agencies and held senior positions at IPC, The Observer, OK! magazine, and Mollin Publishing. The common thread that runs through all Lesley’s work is the drive to break new ground and to examine the commercial potential of a product as a whole, while not mixing up conflicting sectors.
Her passions: helping people achieve their potential and create opportunities for themselves

art director
Joel's considerable talent brings a vast range to the designs produced by Aspect Media. He believes there is such a thing as love at first sight - that first impressions do count. And obviously he is acutely aware that design does attract attention.
In customer publishing terms great design also signifies our clients' successes, demonstrates care for their reputation, and presents them as reliable and attractive. But, as far as Joel and his team are concerned, design is much more than just a package into which content is poured. Joel makes sure that design plays a fundamental role in modifying a publication's pace, density and has an important influence on the impact and character of a magazine's content. He ensures that our designers work hand-in-glove with the editor on each publication. This is because working as a designer at Aspect Media is as much about being a journalist as it is about art. He inspires designers and editors to come up with the best way to bring a story alive, while always having a clear vision of the reader. His passions: Collecting junk, playing guitar, listening to vinyldesigner
